The bathroom has been giving me trouble, 卫生间最近老出毛病，

so today I'm rolling up my sleeves. 所以我今天打算撸起袖子好好整整。

The toilet is draining slowly, 马桶下水特别慢，

so I grab the plunger, get a good seal, 我就拿来皮搋子，严严实实对准下水口，

and pump it hard a few times until the water finally rushes down. 使劲通了几下，水总算是哗啦一声冲下去了。

Then there's the shower drain, 接着是淋浴间的地漏，

clogged with hair — I fish out the gunk, 全被头发堵住了——我把那一坨脏东西掏了出来，

which is honestly a little disgusting, and it runs freely again. 说实话确实有点恶心，不过下水总算又顺畅了。

While I'm at it, 趁着手头正忙活，

I notice the seal around the tub has cracked, 我注意到浴缸周围的密封胶开裂了，

so I run a fresh line of caulk along the gap and smooth it with my finger. 就沿着缝隙重新打了一圈胶，又用手指抹平整。

It has to dry overnight before I can use it. 得晾干一整晚才能用。

These aren't glamorous jobs, 这些活儿虽然谈不上光鲜，

but there's real satisfaction in fixing something yourself instead of calling someone. 但比起叫人来修，自己亲手搞定真的特别有成就感。

Sleeves down, hands scrubbed clean, 挽下袖子，把手洗得干干净净，

and the whole bathroom is finally working the way it should. 整个卫生间总算一切恢复正常了。
