My sheets haven't been changed in a while, 我这床单好一阵子没换了，

so today they're getting a refresh. 今天就给它们彻底换洗一下。

I strip the old ones off, pull the cases off the pillows, 先把旧床单扯下来，扒掉枕套，

and bundle it all into the wash. 一股脑全塞进洗衣机。

Then I stretch the fitted sheet over the mattress, 接着把床笠套到床垫上，

tugging each corner down — that last corner always fights back. 逐一把每个角拽紧——最后一个角总是特别费劲。

I shake out the duvet, stuff it into a fresh cover, 把被子抖开，塞进干净的新被套，

and smooth it flat across the bed. 再在床上铺得平平整整。

I slip the pillows into clean cases and give each one a good fluff and a pat. 枕头套上干净枕套，再一个个拍得蓬蓬松松的。

There's nothing quite like sliding into a freshly made bed at night — 晚上钻进刚铺好的被窝，那感觉真是绝了——

clean sheets might be one of life's most underrated little pleasures. 干净的床单大概是生活里最容易被低估的小确幸了。

I pull the covers straight, 把被子拉平整，

plump the pillows one more time, and stand back. 最后再拍松一下枕头，退后一步端详。

Somehow, a made bed makes the whole room feel sorted. 说来也怪，只要床一铺好，整个屋子瞬间就显得井井有条了。
