Jane Eyre was a small orphan girl. 简·爱是一个小小的孤儿女孩。

She had no mother and no father. 她没有妈妈，也没有爸爸。

She lived with her rich aunt, Mrs. Reed, in a big house called Gateshead. 她和她富有的姨妈里德太太住在盖茨黑德庄园的一栋大房子里。
