A friend asked to borrow some money last week, and I still feel weird about it. 上周有个朋友找我借钱，我现在还是觉得怪怪的。

That's always a tricky one. 这种事总是挺难办的。

Money and friendship don't mix easily. 钱和友情很容易搅在一起出问题。

I lent it, but now I keep wondering if it'll change things between us. 我借了，但现在老在想这会不会影响我们之间的关系。

My rule is to only lend what I'm okay never getting back. 我的原则是，只借自己就算拿不回来也无所谓的钱。

That's actually good advice. 这建议其实挺好的。

Then there's no resentment either way. 这样不管怎样都不会有怨气。

If it comes back, great. 要是还回来了，那当然好。

If not, at least the friendship survives. 要是没还，至少友情还在。
