We had one free Saturday and no plan. 我们有个空闲的周六，而且完全没做计划。

So we made a rule. 所以我们定了个规矩。

We'd drive north, and that was all we'd decide. 一路向北开，别的什么都不定。

No map on the phone. 不看手机地图。

If a road looked interesting, we'd take it. 要是哪条路看起来有意思，我们就开过去。

The first interesting road had a hand-painted sign: "Fresh Pie." 第一条吸引我们的路旁立着个手绘牌子，上面写着“新鲜馅饼”。

We followed it to a farm, 我们顺着路开到了一家农场，

where a woman sold us a cherry pie from her kitchen window. 一位女士从厨房窗户递出来一个樱桃派卖给了我们。

We ate half of it in the car. 我们在车里就吃掉了一半。

The second road ended at a lake 第二条路的尽头是一个湖，

A voice tells me where to turn, and I turn. 导航声音叫我在哪儿拐弯，我就在哪儿拐。

That Saturday, nobody was late, because there was nowhere to be. 但那个周六，谁也不会迟到，因为根本没有目的地。
