剃须修面

Time for a shave. 该刮胡子了。

I splash some warm water on my face first to soften things up, 先往脸上拍点温水软化一下，

then squeeze out a bit of shaving cream and lather it over my jaw and neck. 然后挤点剃须膏，抹在下巴和脖子上揉出泡沫。

I pull the razor down in slow, short strokes, 拿着剃须刀慢慢地一下一下往下刮，

rinsing the blade under the tap every few passes. 刮几下就放水龙头底下冲冲刀片。

Around the chin I go carefully — 下巴这块儿得格外小心——

that's where I always nick myself if I rush. 要是着急，准会在那儿刮破皮。

Once I'm smooth, 等刮得顺滑了，

I rinse off the leftover foam and splash on some cold water to close things up. 我冲掉剩下的泡沫，再拍点冷水收紧一下毛孔。

Then a quick tidy-up: 接着简单收拾一下：

I trim a stray nose hair and even out my eyebrows. 剪掉冒头的鼻毛，顺带把眉毛修齐整。

There's something oddly satisfying about a clean shave — 胡子刮得干干净净，总有种说不出的爽快——

like wiping the slate clean and starting fresh. 就像把一切清零、重新出发一样。

I towel off, 拿毛巾擦干脸，

run a hand over my jaw to check I didn't miss a spot, 摸摸下巴确认没有漏刮的地方，

and I'm good to go. 这就搞定了。
