A fox fell into a deep well and couldn't climb out.

Soon, a thirsty goat looked over the edge.

"Is the water any good?"

the goat asked.

The fox saw his chance.

"Good?

It's the best water I've ever tasted!

Jump in and try it."

The goat jumped in without thinking twice and drank until he was full.

Then he looked around.

"How do we get out of here?"

"Simple," said the fox.

"Put your front feet on the wall.

I'll climb up your back, and then I'll pull you out."

The goat did as he was told.

The fox ran up his back, 狐狸顺着他的背窜了上去,

jumped off his horns, and was out in a second.

"What about me?"

cried the goat.

"You should have thought about that earlier," said the fox, walking away.

Look before you leap,

especially when the advice comes from someone at the bottom of a well.
