The frogs lived a peaceful, lazy life in their pond, 青蛙们在池塘里过着平静又悠闲的日子，
but some of them were bored. 但有些青蛙觉得无聊了。
"We need a king," they said. 它们说：“我们需要一位国王，
"Someone to give us rules." 一个能给我们立规矩的国王。”
So they asked the god Jupiter to send them one. 于是它们请求天神朱庇特派一位国王来。
Jupiter laughed and threw a big log into the pond. 朱庇特笑了笑，往池塘里扔了一根大木头。
The splash scared them at first. 溅起的水花一开始把它们吓了一跳。
But the log just floated there, 可那根木头就只是漂在水面上，
and soon they were jumping all over it. 没过多久，青蛙们就在它身上蹦来跳去了。
"This king does nothing!" “这国王啥事都不管啊！”
they complained. 它们抱怨道。
"Send us a real one, a king who actually rules." “给我们派个真正的国王吧，一个真正管事的国王。”
This time, Jupiter was annoyed. 这回朱庇特烦了。
He sent them a stork. 他给它们送去了一只鹳鸟。
The stork walked into the pond and immediately started eating frogs, 鹳鸟一走进池塘，就立马开始吃青蛙，
one after another. 一只接着一只地吞。
The frogs begged for their old king back. 青蛙们哀求着想换回原来的国王。
But it was too late. 但已经太晚了。
