父子和驴

A man and his son were walking to the market with their donkey. 有个父亲带着儿子,牵着驴走路去赶集。
"Look at those two," someone laughed. “瞧那俩人,”有人笑着说。
"They have a donkey, and they're walking!" “明明有头驴,居然自己走路!”
So the man put his son on the donkey. 于是当爹的便让儿子骑到了驴背上。
"What a lazy boy," said the next person. “这孩子可真懒,”路过的另一个人说,
"His poor father has to walk." “让他可怜的爹跟着走。”
So the boy got down, and the man got on. 于是儿子跳了下来,换当爹的骑了上去。
"What a terrible father!" “这当爹的怎么这样啊!”
said a woman. 一个妇人说道。
So they both rode the donkey. 于是他们爷俩干脆一起骑上了驴。
"Two people on one little animal? “两个人骑这么一头小牲口?
Shame on you!" 害不害臊啊!”
said another. 又有人说道。
In the end, 到最后,
they tied the donkey's legs to a pole and carried him. 他们拿根棍子把驴蹄子绑上,两个人抬着驴走。
Everybody laughed. 这下所有人都笑翻了。
On the bridge, the donkey kicked, 走在桥上时,驴子一通乱踢,
fell into the river, and swam away. 掉进河里游跑了。
They never saw him again. 他们再也没见过那头驴。
Try to please everyone, and you'll please no one. 想让所有人都满意,最后谁也讨好不了。
