All this time, my own story went on in the desert. 就在这段时间里,我自己的故事仍在沙漠中继续着。

By now, eight days had passed since my plane crashed, and my water was gone. 到现在,我的飞机坠毁已经八天了,我的水也喝完了。

As I listened to the little prince, I grew afraid, for we were both very thirsty. 听着小王子的话,我心里害怕起来,因为我们俩都渴极了。

I am thirsty too, the prince said. “我也渴了,”小王子说。

Yet we started walking, and we walked for hours under the stars. 可是我们还是开始走了起来,在星空下走了好几个小时。

The desert is beautiful, the prince said softly. “沙漠是美丽的,”小王子轻声说。
