After years of working in offices, 在办公室干了这么多年，

Every workplace has its factions, its feuds, its whispered campaigns against someone. 每个职场都有拉帮结派，有勾心斗角，还有背地里针对某人的窃窃私语。

And there's always pressure to pick a side, 而且总有一股压力逼着你站队，

to agree that so-and-so is the villain. 非要你承认某某某就是个大反派。

For a long time I got pulled in, 有很长一段时间我也被卷进去了，

because staying neutral can look like weakness. 因为保持中立看起来就像是软弱。

But I've learned it's actually a quiet kind of strength. 但我后来明白，这其实是一种沉稳的力量。

When you refuse to gossip, refuse to take sides, 当你拒绝聊八卦、拒绝站队，

and just focus on doing your work well, something strange happens. 只是专心把手头的工作做好时，奇妙的事情就发生了。

Both sides end up trusting you. 到头来两边的人反而都会信任你。

In a place full of shifting alliances, 在这样一个派系随时变换的环境里，

being the person with no agenda is, 做一个没有自己小算盘的人，

in the end, the strongest position of all. 到最后反而是最牢不可破的立足点。
