The first week of learning anything is always rough,
and I have to remind myself of that every single time.
I started learning to swim properly a few weeks ago,
and honestly, the first few lessons were a disaster.
I couldn't breathe right, I swallowed half the pool,
and my body just refused to cooperate.
Every part of me wanted to decide
that I was simply not a swimmer.
But I've learned that the first week always feels like this.
It's supposed to.
Your brain and body haven't caught up yet.
The people who get good at things aren't the ones with talent.
They're just the ones who survived
that ugly first week and showed up for the second.
So now I try to expect the mess.
