King Philip bought a beautiful horse named Bucephalus. 腓力国王买了一匹漂亮的马，名叫布西弗勒斯。

There was just one problem. 只是有个问题。

Nobody could ride it. 没人能骑得了它。

It kicked and bit, 它又踢又咬，

and the more the men whipped it, the wilder it got. 那些人越拿鞭子抽它，它就越狂躁。

"Take it away," said the king. “牵走吧，”国王说。

"What a waste," said his son, Alexander, who was about twelve. “太可惜了，”他儿子亚历山大说，当时他大概十二岁。
