Lesson 81. 第81课。

Escape. 逃跑。

shouting in the camp itself. 营地里传来喊叫声。

Lights were blazing and men were running here and there. 灯光通明，人们跑来跑去。

They had just discovered that a prisoner had escaped. 他们刚发现一个囚犯逃跑了。

At that moment, 就在那时，

a large black car with four officers inside it stopped at the camp gates. 一辆黑色大轿车停在营地门口，里面坐着四个军官。

The officers got out and the prisoner stood to attention and saluted as they passed. 军官们下了车，囚犯在他们经过时立正敬礼。

When they had gone, 他们走后，

the driver of the car came towards him. 司机朝他走来。

The man obviously wanted to talk. 这家伙明显想聊几句。

He was rather elderly, 他年纪挺大，

with grey hair and clear blue eyes. 灰白头发，蓝眼睛很清澈。

The prisoner felt sorry for him, 囚犯有点同情他，

but there was nothing else he could do. 但也没别的办法。

As the man came near, 那人走近时，

the prisoner knocked him to the ground with a sharp blow. 囚犯狠狠一拳把他打倒在地。

jumping into the car, 跳上车，

he drove off as quickly as he could. 他飞快地开走了。
