Lesson 82 Monster or Fish? 第82课 怪物还是鱼？

Fishermen and sailors sometimes claim to have seen monsters in the sea. 渔夫和水手们有时声称在海上见过怪物。

Though people have often laughed at stories told by seamen, 虽然人们常常嘲笑海员们讲的故事，

it is now known that many of these monsters, 但现在大家都知道，这些怪物中很多，

which have at times been sighted, 那些偶尔被目击到的，

are simply strange fish. 其实就是些奇怪的鱼。

Occasionally, 偶尔，

unusual creatures are washed to the shore, 会有不寻常的生物被冲上岸，

but they are rarely caught out at sea. 但它们很少在海上被捕获。

Some time ago, however, 不过，不久前，

a peculiar fish was caught near Madagascar. 在马达加斯加附近捕到了一条怪鱼。
