of the 19th century was the Crystal Palace, 就是水晶宫了,
which was built in Hyde Park for the Great Exhibition of 1851. 它建在海德公园里,专门为了1851年的万国工业博览会。
The Crystal Palace was different from all other buildings in the world, 水晶宫跟世界上其他建筑都不一样,
for it was made of iron and glass. 因为它全是用铁和玻璃造的。
It was one of the biggest buildings of all time, 它算得上是有史以来最大的建筑之一,
