The kitchen tap had been dripping for three months. 厨房的水龙头已经滴答了三个月。

Drip. 滴。

I kept saying I'd call a plumber. 我总说要找个水管工来看看。

I'm not a person who fixes things. 我这人向来不会修东西。

I'm a person who calls people. 我只会打电话找人来修。

Last Saturday, I watched a video. 上周六，我看了个视频。

A man with a calm voice and big hands. 视频里是个声音温和、手掌宽大的男人。

"It's usually just the washer," he said. “通常就是垫圈的问题，”他说。

A washer is a tiny rubber ring. 垫圈就是个小小的橡胶圈。
