The comic I've been following for years 我追了好几年的漫画
just ended on the worst possible cliffhanger,
and now I have to wait
a whole month for the next chapter.
It's genuinely painful.
I've reread the last few pages about ten times, looking for clues.
My friends who don't read it think I'm being ridiculous,
getting this worked up over a story.
But that waiting, as frustrating as it is, 但这种等待,虽然让人抓狂,
is part of the fun.
I get to spend a whole month guessing,
theorizing, imagining what happens next.
If I could just read the ending right now,
it would be over in a second.
The wait stretches the joy out,
keeps the story alive in my head.
Sometimes the anticipation is almost better than the answer itself.
