毕业感言：感恩同行

elated 感到非常荣幸

to be here with you today 今天能和你们在一起

as we celebrate and graduate 在我们庆祝

New York University's class of 2022. 纽约大学2022届毕业生毕业之际。

Not a single one of us here today has done it alone. 今天在座的我们，没有一个人是独自走到今天的。

We are each 我们每个人都是

a patchwork quilt of those 由那些人共同塑造的

who have loved us, 爱我们的人，

those who 那些

have believed in our futures, 相信我们未来的人，

Those who showed us empathy 那些对我们表现出同情心

and kindness 和善意的人，

or told us the truth 或者告诉我们真相的人，

even when it wasn't easy to hear. 即使那真相并不中听。

Those who told us we could do it 那些告诉我们“你能做到”的人，

when there was absolutely no proof of 即使当时没有任何证据表明

that. 我们能做到。

Someone 有人

read stories to you 给你读故事

and taught you to dream 教你如何梦想

and offered up 并为你提供

moral code 道德准则

of right and wrong for you to try 让你去尝试分辨是非

and live by. 并以此生活。
