亲子玩耍

Playtime is my favourite part of the day, hands down. 一天当中，我最喜欢的绝对就是陪他玩的时间。

I scoop him up and lift him high over my head — 我一把抱起他，高高举过头顶——

he shrieks with laughter and begs to go again, 他咯咯笑着尖叫，缠着我还要再来一次，

so of course I do. 我当然就照做啦。

We build a wobbly tower out of blocks, 我们用积木搭起摇摇晃晃的高塔，

and he knocks it down with pure joy every single time. 每次他都会超级开心地一把推倒。

Then we curl up on the floor with a picture book; 然后我们一起窝在地板上看绘本；

I read slowly, 我慢慢地念着，

pointing at the pictures, and he "reads" along in his own babble. 一边指着图画，他也跟着咿咿呀呀地“读”起来。

The living room ends up looking like a toy bomb went off, 最后客厅乱得就像被玩具炸弹轰过一样，

so together we pick everything up and toss it into the basket, 于是我们俩一起把东西捡起来扔进筐里，

turning even cleanup into a game. 就连收拾屋子也变成了一场游戏。

They grow so fast, everyone keeps telling me, 大家都总跟我说：“孩子长得可快了”，

and I'm starting to feel it. 我现在也开始深有体会了。

So I put my phone in another room and just play — 所以我把手机丢到另一个房间，专心陪他玩——

because these afternoons won't come around twice. 因为这样的午后时光，一去就不会再有了。
