I wanted to make a scarf for my sister.

A simple one.

Just a long rectangle.

It did not stay a rectangle.

At the beginning, it was fifteen centimeters wide.

By the middle, it was twenty.

Near one end, there's a hole I couldn't fix,

and a place where the pattern changes for no reason.

It took me three months.

When I finished, I almost didn't give it to her.

She opened the box and held it up.

She saw everything.

The hole.

The wide part.

Then she put it on, 然后她就直接戴上了,

and she wouldn't take it off, indoors, all evening.

She owns beautiful scarves.

Silk ones.

She wears mine all winter.

A perfect scarf says somebody had money.
