The banquet was glittering, and Macbeth played the gracious host. 宴会办得格外气派，麦克白也表现得像个热情周到的主人。

But when he turned to take his seat, he froze. 但就在他转身准备入座时，整个人突然僵住了。

Someone was already sitting in it. 他的座位上竟然已经坐了人。

It was Banquo, pale and bloody, staring back at him. 那是班柯，脸色惨白、浑身是血，正死死地盯着他。

No one else could see him. 除了麦克白，根本没人能看见他。

"Which of you have done this?" “你们谁干的？！”

Macbeth shouted. 麦克白失控地大吼起来。

The guests stared in confusion. 在座的宾客面面相觑，完全摸不着头脑。

Lady Macbeth hurried to cover for him. 麦克白夫人赶紧站出来替他打圆场。

It will pass." 一会儿就没事了。”

Then she hissed, "Are you a man?" 接着她咬着牙低声斥道：“你还算不算个男人？”

The ghost vanished, then returned. 鬼魂刚消失，随即又冒了出来。

Macbeth broke down completely, and the feast ended in chaos. 麦克白彻底崩溃了，好端端的一场盛宴最终乱成一团、草草收场。

Guilt always finds its way to the table. 做了亏心事，罪恶感终究会不请自来。

Alone afterward, Macbeth made a decision. 事后只剩下自己一个人时，麦克白下定了决心。

He would go back to the witches. 他要再去找那些女巫一趟。
