It happened to a friend of mine a year ago. 这事儿发生在我一个朋友身上，一年前了。
While my friend George was reading in bed, 我朋友乔治正躺在床上看书呢，
two thieves climbed into his kitchen. 两个小偷爬进了他的厨房。
After they had entered the house, 他们溜进屋子后，
they went into the dining room. 就摸进了餐厅。
It was very dark, 里面黑漆漆的，

Suddenly, 突然，
