知足的少年

A rich man was riding past a field one morning when he saw a boy singing to himself as he worked. 一天清晨，一位富人骑马路过一片田地，看到一个男孩正一边干活一边哼着歌。

The boy had patched clothes and bare feet, 男孩穿着满是补丁的衣服，光着脚，

yet he looked perfectly happy. 看起来却格外快活。

Why wouldn't I be happy?" 我哪能不开心呢？”

The rich man rode on, quieter than before. 富人继续往前骑，比先前沉默了许多。

He had spent his whole life chasing more, 他花了一辈子拼命追求更多，

and here was a barefoot boy who had already found the thing money kept promising him. 可眼前这个光脚的男孩，却早已拥有了金钱许诺给他却从未兑现的快乐。

Sometimes "enough" is its own kind of wealth. 有时候，“知足”本身就是一种财富。
