窝与玩具

The living room has slowly turned into a pet toy graveyard, 客厅不知不觉变成了宠物玩具的“坟场”，

so today I tidy up. 所以我今天好好收拾了一番。

I gather the scattered toys from under the couch and behind the curtains — 我把散落在沙发底和窗帘后面的玩具都翻了出来——

a chewed ball, 一个被啃得稀烂的球，

a one-eyed mouse, a rope that's seen better days — 一只独眼小老鼠，还有一根磨得不成样子的粗绳——

and toss them back into the toy box. 统统扔回了玩具箱里。

My cat's bed is looking grubby, 猫窝看着也有点脏兮兮的，

so I strip off the cover and throw it in the wash, 我就把套子拆下来扔去洗，

fluffing up a fresh one in its place. 换上个干净的，顺便拍得蓬蓬松松。

I shake out the blanket she sleeps on and give her scratching post a wipe. 我抖了抖她睡觉用的小毯子，又把猫抓板擦了一遍。

Of course, the moment everything is clean, 当然了，前脚刚收拾得干干净净，

she drags a single toy right back out into the middle of the floor. 她后脚就把一个玩具拖回到了地板正中间。

It's like living with a small, 这就像是跟一个小小的、

furry toddler who never picks up after themselves. 从来不自己收拾烂摊子的毛孩子住在一块儿。

But a tidy little corner of their own seems to make her happy, 不过有个干干净净的专属小角落，她好像挺开心的，

so I don't really mind. 所以我也就无所谓啦。
