The city has introduced new rules about noise in residential areas. 市里针对居民区的噪音问题出台了新规定。

Under the rules, 根据新规，

loud work and music are not allowed after eleven at night. 晚上11点以后禁止进行大噪音作业和大声播放音乐。

The change comes after many complaints from residents about late-night noise. 做出这一调整，是因为之前收到了许多居民对深夜噪音的投诉。

City officials say the goal is to help neighbours live together in peace. 相关负责人表示，新规的目的是为了让邻里之间相处得更和睦、宁静。

Those who break the rules may receive a warning first, 违规者会先收到警告，

then a fine. 如果再犯就会被罚款。

The city is asking residents to speak with their neighbours before making a complaint. 市里建议大家在投诉之前，先试着和邻居沟通沟通。

A phone line has been set up to report serious problems. 目前已开通了一条热线电话，用来举报严重的噪音问题。

Officials say most noise issues can be solved with a friendly conversation. 有关人员表示，大多数噪音问题其实只要友好地聊一聊就能解决。

The new rules take effect at the start of next month. 新规将于下个月初正式生效。
