A national safety agency has announced a recall of a popular brand of electric heaters. 国家安全监管部门宣布，召回一款热销品牌的电暖器。

in rare cases, catch fire. 极少数情况下甚至可能引发火灾。

About fifty thousand heaters, all sold within the past year, are affected. 受影响的电暖器大约有五万台，全都是在过去一年内售出的。

Customers are urged to stop using the product immediately and to unplug it. 官方呼吁消费者立刻停用，并拔掉电源插头。
