Football or Polo? 足球还是马球？

Finally, 终于，

one of the children kicked a ball very hard, 有个小孩使劲踢了一脚球，

and it went towards a passing boat. 球朝着一艘经过的船飞了过去。

Some people on the bank called out to the man in the boat, 岸上有人朝船上的人喊，

but he did not hear them. 但他没听见。

The ball struck him so hard that he nearly fell into the water. 球狠狠砸中了他，差点把他撞进水里。

I turned to look at the children, 我转头看那些孩子，

but there weren't any in sight. 但一个都看不见了。

They had all run away. 他们全跑光了。

The man laughed when he realized what had happened He called out 那人明白怎么回事后笑了，他朝孩子们喊了一声，

to the children and threw the ball back to the bank 把球扔回了岸上。
