Many students like to study at night. 许多学生喜欢在晚上学习。

It is quiet at night. 晚上很安静。

The busy day is done. 忙碌的一天结束了。

Classes and work are over. 课程和工作都结束了。

But in some parts of the world, students cannot study at night. 但是，在世界某些地方，学生晚上无法学习。

In some parts of Africa, students do not have lights in their homes. 在非洲某些地区，学生家里没有灯。

Without lights, students cannot see to read or write. 没有灯，学生就无法看书或写字。

They must wait until the morning to study. 他们必须等到早上才能学习。

For these reasons, today is a happy day for 50 students in a small town in Sierra Leone, in West Africa. 由于这些原因，今天对于50名学生来说是一个开心的日子， 他们来自塞拉利昂的一个小镇， 位于西非。

Today, the director of the school is giving 50 lights to 25 boys and 25 girls. 今天，学校校长正在给25名男生和25名女生分发50盏灯。
