手机壳卡槽

I'm switching to a new phone today, 今天换新手机了，

so there is a bit of fiddly setup to do. 手头有些琐碎的设置要折腾。

First I pop the old case off, 先扣下旧手机壳，

prying it loose from the corners, 从边角一点点抠开，

and clean the phone down with a soft cloth. 再拿软布把手机擦得干干净净。

To move my number over, 要把号码转过来，

I grab the little eject pin and pop out the SIM tray — 我翻出取卡针，顶出SIM卡槽——

that tiny hole nobody knows what to do with. 就平时谁也不知道干嘛用的那个小孔。

I slide the SIM into the new tray, 把卡放进新卡托，

click it back in, and wait for the signal to appear. 咔哒一声推进去，等着出信号。

Then I snap the new case on, 接着套上新手机壳，

pressing around all the edges until it clicks into place. 四周都按上一圈，直到严丝合缝地卡好。

I wipe a smudge off the camera lens and peel the last bit of factory film off the back. 擦掉镜头上的指纹，再撕掉背面最后那层出厂贴膜。

There is a small thrill to a fresh phone, 新手机总能给人带来一种小小的爽感，

clean and unscratched — 干干净净，没有半点划痕——

it never lasts, but I enjoy it while it does. 虽然好景不长，但趁现在好好享受吧。

Set up, cased, and ready — 设置完，套上壳，齐活——

my whole life, back in my pocket. 我的整个人生，又揣回兜里了。
