Lesson 59 In or Out Our dog, Rex, 第59课 进来还是出去？我们的狗雷克斯

used to sit outside our front gate and bark. 以前总是坐在大门外叫唤。

Every time he wanted to come into the garden, 每次他想进花园的时候，

he would bark until someone opened the gate. 就会一直叫到有人开门。

As the neighbours complained of the noise, 因为邻居抱怨太吵了，

my husband spent weeks training him to press his paw on the latch to let himself in. 我老公花了好几周训练他用爪子按门闩自己开门进来。

Rex soon became an expert at opening the gate. 雷克斯很快就成了开门高手。

when I was going out shopping last week, 上周我出去买东西的时候，

I noticed him in the garden near the gate. 发现他在花园里靠近大门的地方。

he was barking so that someone would let him out. 他叫唤是为了让人放他出去。

he immediately lets himself in and begins barking again. 他立马自己进来又开始叫唤。

Yesterday, 昨天，

my husband removed the gate and Rex got so annoyed we have not seen him since. 我老公把门拆了，雷克斯气坏了，从那以后我们就再没见过他。
